WELCOME TO OUR COURTESY CAT LISTINGS
Many wonderful independent cat rescuers are at a disadvantage when it comes to adopting their own personally rescued cats if they are not affilated with a local rescue group. The purpose of this page is to show those cats who are being privately adopted out by an independent rescuers who are friends of PurrFect Paws. If you are interested in meeting or adopting any of the kitties listed on this page, please contact the person listed DIRECTLY, as these cats are not Purrfect Paws cats.
TIM (DSH ORANGE AND WHITE)

Tim is a people kitty. He loves to be cuddled and petted all the time. If it were up to him, he'd be getting loved all day long. While he's getting love, he chirps and purrs on and on. He is so sweet! Tim is also an explorer and loves to crawl around investigating things. While he's so loving and cuddly, he's not super fond of other cats. He'd do best by himself or with only one other kitty in the house. Tim is approximately 2 years old, neutered, negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV and is current on all vaccinations.

TERRANCE (TABBY)

What a charmer! And he's handsome, handsome, handsome to boot.
Terrance loves loves loves , did we mention loves, attention! It is so hard to get a good picture of this debonair guy since he insists on running to the camera since he wants some lovin'. Once he gets some attention he's all about purring and making "air biscuits". Chirp, chirp, purr... that is what Terrance sounds like. It is so endearing. On top of purring and "air biscuits" his favorite pastime is having his head kissed constantly! He is a 4 year old big boy who would prefer to be the king of the castle as an only kitty but he would probably do fine with one other cat if introduced slowly. He is very affectionate and quite the nice boy but likes to play a bit rough ever once in a while. Terrance has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, is current on all vaccines and is neutered. HUGH (DSH BLACK)
REST IN PEACE BEAUTIFUL BOY...Hugh passes away the beginning of June '09 shorty after begin diagnosed with a liver mass. You'll always have a place in our hearts, Big Boy:(

Hugh is one beautiful black kitty with gentle flecks of white throughout his coat and exquisite green eyes! Once he gets someone to pet him, he is in heaven. He loves affection and once you stop petting him, he gives a look that begs for more! He is a gentle boy who is approximately 4-5 years old and was found in an abandoned, filthy home with nothing but water from the toilet to drink. Hugh has been in foster care for a bit now and is such a loving kitty despite his miserable circumstances of his rescue and really needs to find that special someone to love him. Hugh likes to chase you around like a puppy as you walk about the house and does play well with other kitties. He is used to a quiet home so we think he would do well in a home without young children. Hugh has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, is current on all vaccines and is neutered.

DAPHNE ( ORANGE TABBY)

Daphne is a doll that loves people. She is playful and so affectionate in addition to be absolutely beautiful. Daphne is approximately 16 months old (1/09) and was found hiding under a car. To get her out, her rescuer had to lure her with some duck from a local restaurant. She was almost named Ducky, but she is too beautiful for a funny name like that. Daphne adores people but would rather be the only feline in the household. Daphne is spayed, current on vaccines and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

OLLI and IMPY
Say hello to these wonderful 6 - 7 year old brothers. They are fabulous cats w/claws and have great personalities and in good health. They are both good with kids, dogs, and other cats. My uncle has always provided them with scratching posts, tons of toys, and lots of exercise. They love to play with all of their toys and run around. He said along that they are Russian Blues. but I'm not sure. We are looking for any paperwork from the Vet and medical history. From what I know they have never been sick a day. I will take care of vet costs in the event they need vaccinations. You can reach Lisa at work @ 215-238-8500 ext 1324 or on my cell @ 215-275-9434. My husband and I will keep them as long as it takes to find a good home that will take both of them. Again thanks for your help. Lisa
CHLOE AND ALYSSA

Chloe and Alyssa are two REALLY sweet cats! They're both female, spayed, 5 1/2 years old (from the same litter) and have lived together (with me) all their lives. I would like them to be posted and adopted together. They are front declawed so they need an indoor-only home.
Chloe is solid black with yellow eyes, and Alyssa is a beautiful tan tiger with green eyes. The girls are in perfect health except for being slightly overweight. They had their shots fully updated in November, and I can provide a copy of their full medical records since they were born.
They have been exposed to other animals before, and did okay, though Alyssa is a bit of an alpha so she can be a bit teritorial. I think they'd ideally do best staying together as the only cats in a home, but if given time to adjust, they should be okay with others. They moved out before my son was born, but my cat sitter has been bringing her 6 year old daughter with her for years when she comes to care for them. They are very comfortable with her, and Chloe jumps right into her lap as soon as she sees her.
